Chapter Philanthropy and Service

In 2024, Gamma Chi's goal is to raise over $30,000! If you feel so led, please donate to our CrowdChange: https://zta.crowdchange.co/37557

Here's how we do it:

Our sisters are proud to host Think Pink Week every year in the month of October. We promote Think Pink with multiple events and opportunities; and of course, all proceeds go directly to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. Outside our Student Union, we host "Pie a Zeta" and "Pie a BMOC Contestant." During the week, we sell items such as Zinnamon Rolls (cinnamon rolls with pink icing), pink lemonade, buttons, and other small items!

Our biggest event also takes place in October, called Big Man On Campus (BMOC). Men from various campus organizations compete in a male beauty pageant where they try to receive the most donations and perform a talent act on stage. This boosts awareness on campus for our philanthropy and gives us the platform to start conversations about THINKING PINK with ZTA!

However, raising awareness about Breast Cancer Education and Awareness does NOT stop in October! During the spring semester, we host a food-related philanthropy event! This event changes from year to year but previously has included events like Zeta Tots (a tater tot bar with toppings) and Zeta Shortcakes, a strawberry shortcake event. We also host a "field day" event, inviting campus and community organizations to have fun while benefitting our cause.
